It sounds like David Eason will have to keep missing his daughter Ensley. Following his court date with estranged wife Jenelle Evans on Monday, November 25, Radar Online is reporting the former Teen Mom 2 star’s restraining order has been extended. A clerk in the Davidson County, Tennessee courthouse told the outlet a judge continued the order of protection until the couple’s next hearing in two weeks. That means the father of three will be prohibited from seeing or contacting his toddler daughter through Thanksgiving.

“The parties were in court yesterday. … Her lawyer asked for a continuance,” the clerk said. “The order will be in place until the hearing in a few weeks.” According to the clerk, the attorney might have asked for a continuance in order to give Jenelle, 27, and her legal team enough time to find witnesses who can testify against David, 31. In her initial paperwork asking for a temporary restraining order to be granted, she detailed several instances of alleged abuse.

“I married David on September 23, 2017. Since then, he has been abusive and violent towards me,” she wrote in the documents according to Us Weekly. “Because of his behavior, I want to leave him. As he has realized this over the past couple of days, he has escalated his threats.” While filing, she cited “his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons” to support her claims. She also included the incident with Nugget, adding, “David was very angry and responded by taking out his gun and shooting the dog to death. … This incident led to our children being temporarily removed from our home by CPS.”

Despite the legal battle, though, Jenelle and her kids seem to be settling into their new home state. “She has moved [to Nashville],” a source told Radar before the court date. “She is in an apartment there with the children.” She’s also been spending plenty of time with Kaiser, 5, and Ensley, 2. On November 23, she posted a picture of the two tots all cuddled up together as the little girl gave her big brother a kiss. “She loves her Bubba,” the mom captioned the shot.
