Jenelle Evans Reportedly Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against David Eason Amid Divorce
She’s not messing around. Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans has reportedly been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, David Eason, amid their ongoing divorce. The former MTV star expressed how she was worried about her children’s safety in the legal documents she submitted in the wake of her split.
The new order of protection is issued on behalf of Jenelle, 27, and her three kids, Jace, 10, Kaiser, 5, and Ensley, 2, according to E! News.
As of now, it’s required that David, 31, must not have “contact with Jenelle” and the kids or post anything about her online. The former 16 and Pregnant star has also requested that David pay the attorney’s fees.
In the paperwork submitted on Monday, November 4, the mother of three reportedly claims that David’s threats have “escalated” as of late, making it a serious cause for concern. “Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being,” Jenelle stated.
E! reports that Jenelle addressed 11 instances in the past two years where David has acted in ways that aren’t acceptable. The reality star claimed that David even accused her of cheating on him late last month.
“I believe he was implying that he would kill himself if I do not come back to him … For all of these reasons, I’m afraid that David will harm me or my children, and that he will continue to threaten me using text messages, phone calls, or on the internet,” she stated in the documents.
David has yet to respond to Jenelle’s new filing, but he reportedly did take to Facebook recently. “So since Jenelle has disappeared and I have no contact with her or Ensley. I have no option but to file a missing person’s report,” he wrote on November 5. A report has been made, but it has not yet been filed, according to Radar Online.
Jenelle’s new documents indicate that she is now living in Tennessee with the kids after leaving her estranged husband behind in North Carolina. The TM2 alum announced that she was ending her relationship with David on October 31, after two years of marriage.
