Are they ready to move on from the show? 90 Day Fiancé couple Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni) have been through some tough times together on TLC. Now, the young mom is hinting that she’s reading to start living her life entirely off-screen. After holding an Instagram Q&A on Sunday, April 14, the star covered a whole host of topics, talking Azan as a dad, their future baby names, May’s biological father and why the couple postponed their wedding. But in addition to talking about her future with her fiancé, she also talked about their future on TV — and it seems they might be ready to quit. Check out the gallery below to see what Nicole had to say about how this might be her last season.
Nicole and Azan have been on a few different shows.
We first met the couple on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2016 — and then they stuck around for season 5, too. After that, they graduated to the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast for season 3 of the spin-off.

They’ve had a rocky relationship.
After facing down a cheating scandal on the show, they’ve since worked through their issues to rebuild the trust they now share. “We love each other and have worked through our mistakes,” Nicole, 25, told fans.

But being on the show hasn’t helped.
During the Q&A, the star admitted that filming is hard on them — and that Azan isn’t himself in front of cameras. “We act more of our true selves [outside of TV],” she told one fan. “When we film in Morocco, he’s always on edge.”

Now, she’s hinting they might be done.
Though the couple is set to appear on season 4 of Happily Ever After, that may be the last we see of Nicole and Azan on our TV screens. It sounds like they’re just about ready to retire as reality stars.

She gave fans a heads up during the Q&A.
“How much longer will you do the show?” one of her followers asked. Though Nicole didn’t give any specifics, writing that she “can’t say for sure,” she did give one big clue. “This could be our last season,” she said.

She weighed in on why.
“Do you and Azan want to film more? Or are you kinda sick of everything that goes with it?” another follower asked. In response, the mom-of-one admitted that she and her fiancé are “tired of the drama” that comes with being cast members.

What about a spin-off?
When a fan suggested that they could do a show just about them, the star said, “[TLC hasn’t] asked. Plus, I don’t think I could handle the annoyance of having cameras around all the time. They give me anxiety now. They were an experience that I’m ready to get past.”

The show wasn’t really life.
And it seems it’s done more harm than good. In another response, Nicole admitted that what the audiences sees on the show is an “exaggerated” reality, not the truth of what their lives are actually like.

She wouldn’t recommend the experience.
Though she’s starred on four different seasons, she doesn’t think it’s an position any other couples should put themselves in. “Your relationship will be more healthy without it,” she told one follower who was looking to join the cast. “Just my opinion.”

In fact, she doesn’t even watch.
When another fan asked if it’s hard to see herself — and her worst moments with her fiancé — on screen, Nicole admitted that she hasn’t tuned in since season 2. And it sounds like that’s the healthier choice for her.

The show doesn’t let them be them.
But it’s not all TLC’s fault. “Azan was on edge and tense the whole time we filmed,” Nicole explained in response to a fan’s DM about how he could be understandably concerned about his on-screen actions having real-life consequences in Morocco.

Things are different IRL.
“He was never himself around the crew and cameras. Totally himself off cameras when it’s just us or with friends, etc,” she said. “People just think the show is [real] life.” But in real life, the stars don’t need to worry about facing constant criticism from the world.

Besides, they’ve got other future plans.
Including working on baby No. 2. Though the mom teased that they have “some time [to make] those decisions,” she did reveal that they’ve already planned names for their kids, settling on a mix of American and Moroccan names.

For now, they have May.
And Nicole confirmed to one fan that Azan is a “good dad” to her daughter. “They get along so well!” she shared. “Azan loves her like she was his own daughter. He wants the best in life for her.”

Besides, there’s no rush.
After all, they don’t even know where they’ll be living yet. Though ideally they want to end up in the States, Nicole is open to spending a few years somewhere else. “I would live with him in Morocco for a short time,” she told one fan. “I think we would find somewhere to build a life together even if it’s not Morocco.”

They seem more in love than ever.
Though they’ll always have their haters, Nicole is confident in her relationship — and the fact that Azan isn’t using her. “He wants children and a life with me,” she told fans. “We want forever with each other.”
