But there are days when you just miss holding them or just being next to them, those days are hard.”

When a fan asked how often she talks to her fiancé, Nicole replied, “We txt every day. Call at least once a day. Try to video chat a couple times a week.”

No PDA

One of the first fights that Nicole and Azan got into with each other during their first season on the show was after she arrived in Azan’s home country of Morocco. The Florida native didn’t seem to understand why Azan wouldn’t hold her hand or kiss her in public, and he tried to explain that since Morocco is a Muslim country, those types gestures in public are frowned upon. At first, Nicole seemed to think that Azan was using his cultural differences as an excuse not to be affectionate with her, and a fan asked if she had become accustomed to the social customs in Morocco.

“Honestly I’m OK not being able to show lots of PDA in his country because I feel like I don’t do PDA a lot anyways. But yes, I am better at it now,” Nicole responded.

Behind Closed Doors

While Azan seems to be strict about certain things in his culture, sex before marriage doesn’t seem to be so taboo. When asked if she and Azan had consummated their relationship, Nicole coyly responded, “Azan and I have been intimate.”

“Azan is a loving and caring man. He’s a kind-hearted person who is very family oriented. I love everything about him,” Nicole gushed when asked how she knew he was “the one” for her.

Does Her Family Approve?

Throughout much of their relationship, Nicole’s family did not seem to approve of her relationship with Azan. But now that it’s been nearly four years, Nicole says they’re starting to come around.

“They know that this is what I want and he makes me happy. They want me to be happy so they accept that. Most my family hasn’t met him so they are still waiting for that,” she answered.

And Azan’s family has already accepted both Nicole and her 5-year-old daughter, May. “Azan’s family loves me and May. They ask about us all the time,” Nicole told a fan.

Still Independent

Part of the reason why Nicole’s family didn’t approve of her relationship with Azan is because of the negative stereotype about Moroccan men. She seemingly shared her secret for dealing with some of those stereotypes as she gave advice to a fan who is also dating a man from Morocco.

“Stay true to yourself and never let a man change you,” Nicole wrote.

Different Off Camera

Many fans pointed out that Azan comes off as shady because of the way he is portrayed and the way he treats her on the show. Nicole explained that he is very different when the cameras are off.

“We act more of our true selves. When we film in Morocco he’s always on edge,” she wrote.

“I bought him a jersey of his favorite soccer team and player of that team for one of our anniversaries,” Nicole revealed when a fan asked her about the biggest surprise Azan had ever received from her.

A fan told Nicole that Azan was lucky to have her, and she gushed, “LOL trust me, he knows how lucky he is with me. I love him with all my heart forever.”

Nicole also revealed that it’s “almost a year now” since the last time she saw her fiancé in person.

Is Azan in It for the Green Card?

Of course, many fans think that Azan might just be in a relationship with Nicole so that he could come to the United States, marry her and get his green card — but Nicole slammed those rumors.

“No. He wants children and a life with me. We want forever with each other,” she responded.

Fans also think that Azan is using Nicole, either as a way to come to America or for her money. But Nicole clapped back, “The thought never passes my mind.”
