This is so sweet. 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger answered all sorts of fan questions during a recent Instagram Q&A, and someone specifically asked about her daughter’s relationship with her fiancé, Azan Tefou (a.k.a Hassan M’Raouni). The reality star explained, “Too much pressure not enough time or money. You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet.” That’s fair!

One very important reason Nicole wants to make sure they do things the right way is her daughter, 5-year-old May, from a previous relationship.

One fan asked Nicole during the same Q&A, “Has May’s biological father tried to contact you?” “May’s bio dad and I are only in contact for May only,” the reality TV personality revealed.

Nicole also noted that May’s father does not have custody of her. Without Azan around, Nicole would be a single mom.

Nicole also said in the same Q&A session that May’s dad, “Video chats her once and a while, but he hasn’t met her in person before. We [live] states away.” She continued, “He asks about her, but we just live our lives.”

But what about Azan’s relationship with May? After all, he’s been a big part of the little girl’s life since she was 2 years old.

Then came the controversial question every fan has been wondering. One fan asked Nicole, “Does May call Azan ‘Daddy?'”

Disagreements

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans don’t agree with Nicole’s decision to teach May to call Azan daddy, only because he is not her biological father. “Nicole is a moron. Bringing a child to Morocco & calling a stranger daddy. I can’t believe how stupid some women are🙄 #90DayFiance,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Another tweeted, “#90DayFiance @TLC It is pretty telling when Nicole’s daughter May is pushing Azan off of her … ‘Daddy’ my ass. How disgusting and ridiculous.”

She Misses Him

“Yes she does,” the 90 Day Fiancé mom responded. “May loves Azan very much and misses him a lot as well.” Aww, poor kid!

Special Bond

May is a very lucky little girl indeed to have Azan around. Nicole also revealed during the Q&A that she was 34 weeks pregnant when she and May’s dad split, so Azan really is the only “daddy” the little girl has ever known.

Although Nicole hasn’t seen her love in almost a year – and May for presumably for as long if not longer — the 90 Day Fiancé couple apparently texts every day and try to stay connected. It’s probably not easy, but they’re making it work.
