What’s going on with 90 Day Fiancé stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith? It seems the reality show couple is going through a rocky period — and, in fact, they may no longer be a couple at all. After facing a second cheating scandal, they may have called it quits. Or at least Ashley seems to be washing her hands of the relationship. While doing an Instagram Q&A, she seemed to confirm that she and Jay had broken up — and it was only because of her cast mate Larissa Dos Santos Lima that she opened up. The couple has faced a cheating scandal before.

In December 2018, the show revealed that Jay had a secret Tinder account within a week of his wedding to Ashley. “Someone was FaceTiming Jay at like midnight and I noticed it said ‘Paige’ on the phone,” Ashley, 31, explained.

He tried to lie about it.

“I was like, ‘Who is FaceTiming you at this late in the night?'” she continued. “He had just came home from the gym. … And then he was like, ‘Oh yeah, a girl that was calling about a tattoo.'”

But she pretty much caught him red-handed.

The woman admitted that she and Jay had met on Tinder and that she hadn’t known he was married, revealing that they’d planned to meet up in person. “That’s when he admitted to everything and I was like, ‘We’re done.'”

But they weren’t done.

Despite filing for divorce on January 11, 2019, Ashely and Jay didn’t actually split up. Less than two weeks later, she withdrew the paperwork and they were all smiles once more.

They seemed to be stronger than ever.

they even quit the reality show for the sake of their relationship, claiming “our story started to become inconsistent because of what we were being asked to hide and not tell followers.”

Ashley hinted that the whole split was fake.

“I stayed by his side after the Tinder scandal,” she claimed. “[The show] wanted us to keep everything private and say we weren’t together. … We’re over being celebrities. We want to go back to our lives and focus on our relationship.”

She broke her NDA to spill the truth.

“Jay and I have never separated since we were married,” she said on February 10, revealing that being honest meant she wouldn’t get paid for filming Happily Ever After. “We were made to act as if our relationship was no longer active.”

The star said they were doing well.

In late February, she claimed their relationship was “much better” now that they were living their lives off-camera. She even let her husband give her a tattoo that had a powerful meaning.

The design had nothing to do with Jay.

Ashley told In Touch that it’s the “sign for sexual abuse.” As a survivor of sexual abuse after being kidnapped at age 19, it’s clear the ink is incredibly important to Ashley.

It’s not her only tattoo from her hubby.

After getting the fresh ink, she revealed that it’s actually the fifth design that Jay, who is a tattoo artist, had done for her. Though she likely doesn’t regret getting this tattoo, she may now be regretting letting Jay be the one to tattoo her.

Because now they’re going through round 2.

On Instagram, Ashley put her husband on blast. “It’s all fun [and] games until your ass gets deported,” she wrote on her Story. “Have fun at the strip club with MY money and MY car you’re driving around without a license!” She even tagged Jay, adding gifs that read “Bye Felicia” and “Cancelled.”

And now she’s coming for her husband again.

In another Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, April 17, she spilled even more details on the state of her relationship. Her followers wanted to know just what was going on after she brought up deportation — and it got real.

Ashley Says She's Not Having Children With Jay

At first, she seemed to be having fun.

Though she’s hinted about wanting more kids one day, she answered, “Hell No” when a fan asked if she was planning to have them with Jay. She even used Monica’s song “Hello No”, a song about cheating, to emphasize her point.

Her fans had a lot more questions than that.

They wanted to know if Jay had gotten someone pregnant, if she was planning on getting a divorce, and if she would really “send him back to Jamaica” after their split. But there was only question that really mattered.

Larissa helped confirm the news.

“Larissa says you’re single,” wrote one fan. “[Is it] true?” Ashley seemed to reveal that it was, writing back, “We must not go against what the Queen says. I don’t want to die today.”

Larissa famously screamed that whoever went against the queen would die — and Ashley seemed to side with what her costar had said. Of course, Larissa knows all about having a husband of her own who cheated on her.
