Nicole, 25, has a precious daughter named May from a previous relationship, and fans have long wondered if May’s biological father is still involved in her life.

While taking to Instagram for a Q&A, the TLC alum gave some insight on her current standing with her ex. One fan asked, “Has May’s biological father tried to contact you?”

Current Arrangement

“May’s bio dad and I are only in contact for May only,” the reality star spilled. Nicole also clarified that he doesn’t see their daughter on a regular basis.

So does he have custody of May? The 90DF star said “no,” confirming that she has full rights of their daughter.

Of course, one of her followers wanted to know if May’s biological father is still in the picture at all, given the information she disclosed thus far.

“He video chats her once and a while, but he hasn’t met her in person before. We [live] states away,” Nicole wrote. “He asks about her, but we just live our lives .”

Behind Her Decision

As far as May’s moniker goes, the reality star revealed that they did decide on their daughter’s name together. “When I was still with her bio dad, we were going through names and this name just sounded right,” Nicole wrote.

Clearly, she’s still happy with her choice! “I’m glad I named her May,” Nicole added. “It’s perfect.”

Calling It Quits

The reality star also revealed how old May was when they decided to split. She responded, “I was 34 weeks pregnant.”

Nicole has since embarked on a blossoming romance with her new beau, Azan Tefou (a.k.a Hassan M’Raouni), and they’ve already been together for three and a half years.

On the bright side, it looks like May has already formed a solid connection with Nicole’s fiancé. Another fan asked, “Does May call Azan daddy?”

“Yes she does,” Nicole dished. “May loves Azan very much and misses him a lot as well.” The Florida-native hasn’t seen her beau in almost a year now, but they do text every day and stay in contact as much as possible.

Nicole also said that May’s biological dad is fine with their daughter going to Morocco. “Yes. He’s a pretty relaxed guy,” she wrote.

During the same Q&A, Nicole finally revealed the real reason why she and Azan decided to hold off their wedding. “Too much pressure not enough time or money,” the reality star responded. “You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet.”
