‘LPBW Star’ Amy Roloff Gushes Over Fiancé Chris After ‘Surprise’ Engagement: ‘I Couldn’t Be Happier’
She’s thrilled! Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff got engaged to her now-fiancé, Chris Marek, not long after her birthday, and she opened up about the proposal on Instagram on September 25. “A lot has happened to me this past week and a half (more later) but I wanted to share again a beautiful event that happened in my life,” Amy, 55, began. “I never had a clue or expected it. Chris and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary of dating last Wednesday. And to my wonderful happy surprise, he proposed and asked me to marry him! ❤️🎉❤️.”
The reality TV mom continued on the post, which included several photos, “I couldn’t believe it! I cried, he had tears and of course, I said YES! ❤️💍❤️. I’m engaged and couldn’t be happier. I love this man so much ❤️. Of course, a day later I had to celebrate the news with two of my closest friends — Lisa and Debi 🎉😊🎉. I’m blessed. I’m happy. Amy’s new daughter-in-law, Isabel Rock, commented on the post, “You deserve all the happiness ❤️.” In fact, Amy’s family seems pretty happy for her in general! Even her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, congratulated her in an Instagram post on September 21. “My buddy Ty and I got together for our regular Saturday morning breakfast today … He doesn’t do social media … so I filled him in on Amy’s exciting engagement news. Congratulations to Amy and Chris!!” he wrote.
Amy got engaged to Chris on September 18 and the couple confirmed the news to People on September 20. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” the Little People, Big World mama said. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” Chris added, “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart-shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.”
Amy also showed off her engagement ring on Instagram on September 20. “Some of you may have already heard, but, I’m engaged!” she shared in a video message. “Chris asked me to marry him and of course I said yes,” she said. “We’ve been dating for three years now, just celebrated our third year, quote, anniversary, and that’s when he asked me to marry him. I was so surprised. So shocked. I am so, so very happy. He’s an awesome guy. I love him to death. And I’m so looking forward to this new journey of us. Together. So anyway! I’m engaged! I’m happy. Thank you all, so, so much.” We can’t wait to see what the future brings for Amy and Chris!
