Amy Roloff Squashes Chris Marek Engagement Rumors After Fan Spots a Ring on Her Finger: ‘No Big News!’
False alarm! Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff became the subject of engagement rumors when a fan noticed her wearing a sparkling ring on Instagram Live. The TLC alum later cleared the air while responding to the commenter on July 16, revealing the true story behind her bling!
Amy, 54, and her boyfriend, Chris, reportedly met in 2016 at a singles mixer just four months after her divorce from Matt Roloff, 57, was finalized. The couple has been going strong ever since, so of course some of the reality star’s followers have been curious about when they are going to take their relationship to the next level. After seeing Amy’s jewelry in her recent video, one fan asked her point-blank if Chris popped the question in the comment section of her new Instagram post.
“Ms. Amy. I spotted a beautiful ring on your finger during your live chat … hmmmm?,” the fan asked and the reality star set the record straight. “No big news. It’s a ring I had remade from a ring I already had. It’s on my right finger,” Amy replied. Well, there you have it!
Amy and her beau appeared to be in great spirits while reconnecting with his relatives at his family reunion over the weekend. “I was happy to be there w/ him and get to see many of them again and hear a few more fun stories about Chris,” the TLC alum gushed in her caption, adding a montage of photos. “Life is a little more wonderful when it’s about family and in all its little differences. Love.”
Looking ahead, there are some wedding bells ringing in the Roloff family! Amy has been lending a helping hand with her son’s upcoming nuptials, set for September 2019. “Wedding planning for Jacob and Isabel’s wedding,” she wrote on July 12. “So happy and excited for them. I can’t wait!”
