Is it over? 90 Day Fiancé star Jess Caroline called boyfriend Colt Johnson “trash” and threatened to go “f–k another man” after finding out his friend Vanessa Guerra was the one catsitting for the family during the Sunday, August 9, episode of Happily Ever After. It’s no secret between the couple that Jess isn’t exactly comfortable with her man’s female best friend, but when she found out they’re still in contact, she lost it.

“Go back to America,” Jess, 26, told Colt, 34. “You’re a bad guy.” When he tried to clarify what was going on, she didn’t want to hear it. The fact that the Las Vegas native had just asked her dad for his blessing to propose didn’t help matters. The redhead revealed she’s no longer sure about their future, questioning why he always “lies” to her. Their fight turned physical when she threw two of her shoes at him.

Previously, Colt assured his girlfriend that he would stop talking to Vanessa. Despite that, he told cameras he didn’t have any intention of doing so. “Vanessa’s my best friend,” he said at the time. “She’s been there a lot longer than Jess has.” And yet, he also admitted his feelings for Vanessa weren’t strictly platonic, explaining they’d had sex once before and he had a “crush” on her. It seemed the only reason things never moved forward was because the feeling wasn’t mutual.

Now that he’s with Jess, Colt said he wanted to prove to her that he really is just friends with Vanessa — and not “friends with benefits” like she believes. Mom Debbie Johnson doesn’t see that going well, though. She couldn’t help but compare Colt’s new girlfriend’s reaction to how ex-wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima behaved. Debbie thinks Jess’ “jealousy” should be a “warning sign” to Colt so that he doesn’t go down the same path again, and Colt appeared to feel the same way.

“I’m having flashbacks of Larissa, and I don’t know what to do,” he admitted in a confessional. He claimed his ex “isolated” him from his female friends and loved ones, and it made their relationship unhealthy. Regardless, he said “loves” Jess and wants to “try to fix things” with her.

Unfortunately, fans know the relationship is only headed for more trouble. The couple already split in real life, and things only seem to be getting messier between them. Even worse? Vanessa is part of that drama, too. On her Instagram Story, Jess shared screenshots of a conversation where Colt allegedly told his friend to back off because he loves his girlfriend. But those messages apparently don’t show the real truth. “Vanessa told me he called her and [they] both agreed to fake [the] conversation,” Jess claimed. “This way I would calm down and he could finish the season with me. Then, after that, they could be together (like they are now). … He’s a liar, a cheater [and] a [piece] of trash hiding under his [mother’s] skirt.”
