’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jonathan’s New Girlfriend Shows Off Her Singing Skills During Road Trip
She’s got pipes! 90 Day Fiancé star Jonathan Rivera has already moved on after his split from his estranged wife, Fernanda Flores, and he’s slowly revealing more and more details about his mystery lady. The 32-year-old took to his Instagram Story on Sunday, June 2, to share some super cute snaps of him and his new girlfriend singing along to the Fugees’ 1996 jam “Killing Me Softly” — and Jon’s new girl can really sing.
It seemed like the couple was cozy and in love during a road trip after spending a little weekend getaway to Jon’s hometown of Chicago. Earlier in the day, Jon shared snaps of him and his lady enjoying a day date at the Lincoln Park Zoo, then they had dinner at BIG & little’s Restaurant before going for a walk at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk. The only thing that would have ruined their perfect Sunday outing was if they ran into Jon’s ex — after their split, Fernanda moved out of the home that she shared with Jon in North Carolina and relocated to Chicago.
Back in January, Jon confirmed that he and Fernanda decided to go their separate ways right before Christmas 2018. “My feelings for Fernanda were real and Fernanda’s feelings for me were real. Fernanda’s not a gold digger. Fernanda didn’t come here for a green card. What happened was things change, things change and people change and I can’t help that,” Jon exclusively revealed to In Touch at the time. “I don’t know how to help someone from changing who they are or who they were. Also, she’s young. You have a tendency to continue to grow, you want different things as time goes on and I can’t blame her for that.”
Since their split, Fernanda has been focusing on her modeling career and she’s constantly sharing behind-the-scenes snaps from her various jobs and photo shoots in Chicago. She also seems to be enjoying the single in the city life — over Memorial Day Weekend 2018, Fernanda shared a video of herself dancing cumbia with a cute mystery man.
