Out of all of the couples on Season 6 of TLC’s hit reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé, Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores have the biggest age gap. Jonathan is 32 and Fernanda is 19, so there are about 12 years between them. Recently, Jonathan took to his Instagram story to answer fan questions and he confirmed that he and Fernanda have been together for two years — which means Fernanda was only 17 years old when they started dating. Watch the video above to see even more alarming news about their relationship and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Jonathan explained in his confessional that he was a bachelor throughout most of his 20s and all of that changed when he went on a vacation to Mexico, which is where he met Fernanda.

“When she walks into the room, people stop and look — that’s exactly what she did to me when I met her,” Jonathan said. “I’m at the club and I see this girl walk in with a long black dress. I finally made my way to the dance floor. I swear, it’s like everything stopped. We got off the dance floor after about an hour and a half and spent the rest of the evening talking. She was shocked that I was able to speak Spanish — I looked like a ‘gringo.'”

After they met, Jonathan switched his flight so that he could stay three extra days in Mexico with Fernanda. “It turned out, no one brings the best out of me like Fernanda does,” he said.

Jonathan proposed to Fernanda after three months of dating, and he said he would try to visit her as often as he could in Mexico but it meant that he would have to take time off of his job as a realtor. That’s why they decided to apply for the K-1 visa, and fans will get to tune in to see if they made it down the aisle.
