‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Ashley Suspected Jay Had Another GF During Their Marriage: ‘I Was Alerted About Her in January’
Blast from the past. 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Smith (née Martson) is looking back on her relationship with estranged husband, Jay Smith, and recalling the moment where she found out about the new woman in his life. The TLC alum said she first heard about Kayla O’Brien earlier this year.
“I was alerted about her in January,” Ashley, 33, told In Touch. “So, I know, like, in the episode where the barbershop sat me down, I refer to a stripper. That’s who I was referring to.” The mother of two said that she allegedly found some messages between Jay, 21, and Kayla.
“He was going to the strip club, like, many times a week … Then someone had alerted me that, like, he was talking to one of the girls in there,” the 90DF alum continued. “I never knew who it was or anything. And then the GoFundMe came out [after Smith ended up in ICE custody], and I put all the pieces together.”
Kayla later slammed Ashley’s claims that she’s a stripper while chatting with In Touch exclusively. “I was not a stripper first that converted to a bottle girl, I have actually always been a bottle girl,” she said.
On Tuesday, August 6, Jay went Instagram official with Kayla by sharing a photo of their recent outing together via Instagram. His girlfriend also posted several pics of her own. “So much fun w my loves,” she captioned a PDA snap of them the same day. Kayla has been by Jay’s side amid his legal drama and she even picked him up from jail upon his release from ICE custody.
Kayla took to Instagram with a video showing the moment she jumped into Jay’s arms. “My f–king baby. so happy, so grateful @jay_smith_ja,” she captioned the clip of their reunion.
As we previously reported, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay for the second time in April 2019 and she now revealed that it would take “hell to freeze over” before she gave him another chance.
