’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jay Goes IG Official With His New Girl — And She’s an Ashley Look-Alike!

After going through a tough couple of weeks, Jay is all smiles in his new Instagram photo shared on August 6.

As we previously reported, the 21-year-old Jamaica native turned himself in to authorities on July 3 after learning he had a warrant out for his arrest, stemming from a violation of a PFA order that was placed against him by his ex, Ashley, on July 1.

ICE Custody

Jay was immediately taken into ICE custody in York County Prison because he is not an American citizen and it was later revealed that he was facing deportation.

Showing Support

Amid his legal struggles, Jay’s friend (now revealed to be his girlfriend) Kayla launched a GoFundMe campaign to help free him from immigration detention.

Overcoming Obstacles

The reality star was ultimately released from ICE custody after his boss, Ego, paid $4,500 to bail him out. Jay later broke his silence on Instagram with a heartfelt message about his “eye opening” experience.

Expressing Gratitude

“Thanks to the people who walked in my life and made it better and thanks to the ones that walked out and made it AMAZING,” Jay wrote.

Fans were shocked when Jay went public with his new girl, Kayla, on August 6, by sharing a photo of them drinking together after his legal woes.

“AFTER THE BAR YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS 💗💗💗👉🏼👌🏼,” he captioned the photo.

It didn’t take long for fans to sound off with comparisons about his former flame. “Definitely has a type. She is Ashley’s twin in this picture,” one wrote in the comments.

Kayla also posted a PDA photo of them on her Instagram page. “So much fun w my loves,” she wrote alongside the snaps from their fun-filled night outing.

Just a few days ago, she shared a video of their highly anticipated reunion following his release. “My f–king baby. so happy, so grateful @jay_smith_ja,” Kayla wrote.

Jay’s ex, Ashley, filed for divorce from him for the second time in April and she recently shared her thoughts on his new relationship in an interview. “There’s already a lot of rumors going around that his girlfriend who’s running the GoFundMe is pregnant,” she said.

“[Kayla] used to be a stripper and she has changed her career over to a bottle service girl now,” the TLC alum continued. Kayla later fired back at Ashley’s claims.

“I was not a stripper first that converted to a bottle girl, I have actually always been a bottle girl lol it’s funny how much stuff she makes up by herself,” Kayla told In Touch exclusively.

“[Ashley] also never saw my body in the courtroom, so her pregnancy speculations are trash, I was sitting the entire time,” Kayla added.
