We all could use a strong support system while going through tragedy. For the late Beth Chapman’s youngest daughter, Bonnie Jo Chapman, her man has been her rock during her heartbreak.

The 20-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 16, to answer some personal questions from fans. One of the many touching questions of concern was, “What is getting you through this tough time?” to which Bonnie replied, “My boyfriend, he’s been so helpful.” She continued, “He’s always been there to comfort me and just let me ugly cry on his shoulder.”

Beth had been preparing her family for a day she knew would one day come. “For two to three years, she knew this might happen,” Daune “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman said to Entertainment Tonight. “So she would say, ‘Who is going to sit next to you?’ And I said, ‘No one,” the 66-year-old continued. “‘Big Daddy, you better not let another girl take my place.’ I said, ‘I won’t.’”

She said that she was also prepared for her mother’s passing. Bonnie was asked by several fans how she is holding up to which she replied, “I’m good, really. My therapist prepared me for all of this, it hurts that it happened so soon, but I was able to take advantage of the moments I had with her,” said Bonnie. “I try not to regret much with her, and I only regret not talking to her the day before.”

The brave daughter took the stage at her mother’s two-hour-long memorial service on Saturday, July 13 saying, “I’ve never imagined I would lose my mom at 20,” she began. “I never imagined walking down the aisle without her or her not judging my dress. I never imagined a life without her, it’s really tough now being without her.”

Beth passed away on June 26 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu after a three-year battle with throat cancer. She was only 51-years-old.
