‘The Family Chantel’ Brood: Get to Know Pedro Jimeno’s Mom Lidia, Sister Nicole and More
Mark your calendars, 90 Day Fiancé fans! Season 2 of TLC’s spinoff, The Family Chantel, is set to return on Monday, October 12. The reality show follows the lives of Chantel Jimeno (née Everett) and her husband, Pedro Jimeno, along with their in-laws. One thing is for sure: there will be some wild moments “as they try to get past their differences and come together.” Looking for details on Pedro’s family members? Keep scrolling below to meet his brood!
Pedro’s Mother, Lidia Jimeno
Pedro’s mom, Lidia, is still living in his native country of the Dominican Republic. She will be joining the spinoff cast along with Chantel’s mom, Karen Everett, dad, Thomas Everett, brother River Everett, and sister, Winter Everett.
Trouble has been brewing between the families ever since Chantel first introduced Pedro to her loved ones. She initially claimed he was coming to America on a student visa when he really was on a K-1 visa with the intent to marry Chantel within 90 days of his arrival, and the turmoil has only continued from there.
Given the drama that Pedro has been subjected to on behalf of Chantel’s family, it’s no surprise that Pedro’s family harbor negative feelings toward his wife and his in-laws. As viewers know all too well, the feelings are mutual.
But for this upcoming season, it seems like Lidia will be too busy to bother with Chantel because she’s set her sights on daughter Nicole’s new boyfriend, Ale.
Pedro’s Sister, Nicole Jimeno
Nicole is also not a big fan of Pedro’s relationship with Chantel. On previous episodes of 90 Day Fiancé, she actually told her brother to get a divorce, so it was no surprise when Chantel slammed Nicole via Instagram Stories in May 2019. “I don’t hate you because your [sic] my sister-in-law,” her post read. “I hate you because when you open your mouth, you sound like a f–king idiot!” The drama has been going on for quite some time and the ladies have been involved in several heated exchanges.
But Nicole will soon find herself in the same shoes as her brother and will learn what it feels like to date someone who doesn’t get along with her family members. She has a new man in her life, Ale, and she splits her time between living with her mother in the Dominican Republic and visiting Ale in New York City. In previews for season 2, Nicole’s mom, Lidia, doesn’t seem to think her new boyfriend, Ale, is the right man for her and it leads to a blowout fight.
Pedro’s Father
Pedro’s dad is not in the picture anymore, so he won’t be appearing on the spinoff.
Pedro’s Grandmother
Pedro has a grandmother on his mother’s side of the family, whom he is very close to. She lives in the Dominican Republic countryside.
