She’s over the swirling rumors. 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger decided to set the record straight about her relationship status with Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni) yet again. The TLC alum took to riesries with a passionate statement on Tuesday, July 16, confirming that Azan did not pull the plug on their romance after her canceled Morocco trip. Episode Details

To get you up to speed, Nicole, her daughter, May, and her stepdad were originally scheduled to meet Azan in Grenada for a vacation, but Azan called off the plans the night before they were supposed to fly out.

Azan reached out to Nicole and explained that he had a family emergency and needed to cancel the trip. Viewers didn’t really get any details about what happened.

Afterwards, Nicole planned to use the money that she was refunded from the canceled Grenada trip to pay for a flight to Morocco so she could visit Azan.

The reality star’s mother was worried because Nicole didn’t have a lot of extra money, and might not be able to financially support herself while in Morocco.

At the time, Nicole and May were living rent-free at her mom’s house so she could save money for the trip. Nicole later revealed that Azan had a job as a fisherman, so her mom finally approved of the vacation.

Afterwards, there was a message on the screen. It said that two weeks after she bought the tickets and had that conversation with her mom, Nicole had to cancel the Morocco trip.

Rumors started swirling about Nicole and Azan’s relationship status after the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, but she’s now setting the record straight in a passionate statement shared on her Instagram Stories.

Shocking Message

Nicole posted a screengrab of a lengthy message. It began, “Her stepdad told a reporter that as soon as she stopped being able to give Azan money, he dropped her.”

Calling It Quits?

The message claimed that Azan told Nicole not to come to Morocco “since she had no money to give him,” alleging that Azan stopped taking her calls and cut off contact completely.

The commenter then claimed Nicole “doesn’t want the world knowing she was used and dumped,” adding how it’s “sad she allowed this to happen to herself.”

Nicole fired back at the message, which even stated that she needed to worry about herself and May, instead of focusing on boys. “This whole message was fabricated and 100% not true,” the reality star responded. “Why do people spend their time spreading lies and rumors?”

The couple has been together for over three years and they are often subject to split rumors. During her latest Q&A, Nicole was asked point-blank when she’s “ACTUALLY” going to get married.

“I know ya’ll just want to see my ‘ending’ to my seasons, but ya’ll are so pushy,” she began. “I’m just trying to live life with no worry or rushing. Just enjoying.”
