‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Mackenzie McKee Says Her Parents’ Marriage Is ‘Goals’ Amid Angie’s Cancer Battle

As In Touch previously reported, Angie is currently battling stage 4 lung and brain cancer after she was diagnosed back in 2018.

Angie has recently stopped receiving cancer treatments, and it seems like she experienced a scary health issue over the weekend. But thankfully, her husband Brad was by her side throughout the ordeal.

“After a rough scary night, mom was finally home and resting and my sister snapped this pic. ‘Through sickness and health.’ #goals,” Mackenzie captioned a photo of her mom and dad laying in bed together, sleeping while holding hands.

Fans flooded the MTV star’s mentions with sweet comments gushing over Angie and Brad’s love.

“I love your dad! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a man as devoted as he is💙 Prayers for your warrior of a mom💗,” one Twitter user wrote. Mackenzie replied, “He is a good good man.”

“This is a beautiful picture it brought tears to my eyes and I felt it in my heart. May God continue to bless your mom. Praying for her ❤🙏,” another fan commented, and another wrote, “Your parents are truly one of a kind couple. I’ve never seen a husband more committed — and your Mom is so strong!”

Mackenzie definitely looks up to Angie too, and she also gushed about her amazing mama back in July.

“Waking up at 5:00 a.m. to such an encouraging random text from my momma @angiedouthit I’d be so lost without you,” Mackenzie wrote. “I will cherish these simple things forever.”

Mackenzie, her mom, her dad and her estranged husband all made an appearance together on the Teen Mom OG reunion, where Angie revealed why she decided to stop chemotherapy.

“My life is in God’s hands,” Angie explained. Then, reunion host, Dr. Drew asked Mackenzie if she had that same faith as her mom does, and she said she does.

But Mackenzie was honest and she said she was not ready to accept the fact that her mother’s cancer battle will eventually come to an end.

“She was always the glue that held me together,” Mackenzie said about her mama.

But Angie isn’t the only one who’s remaining hopeful. Her husband, Brad, said that he is just “hanging on” and taking things “one day at a time.”

Mackenzie also gushed over her parent’s strong bond. “They’ve been my favorite love story my entire life. I’ve always wanted a guy to love me like my dad loves my mom my whole life,” she said.
