Mending fences? After Jenelle Evans announced she is filing for divorce from her husband, David Eason, a fan asked fellow Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry whether or not she’d be OK with having Jenelle on her podcast — possibly a longshot, considering the two have had a volatile relationship in the past. But surprisingly, Kail, 27, seemed willing to give it a shot.

Kailyn began a Q&A session with her Twitter followers on November 2 and one person asked, “If the latest news about Jenelle is true, would you and @LindsieChrisley be willing to have her on the podcast to tell her story if she was open to it?” The reality star responded, “For sure! I texted that in my group text with my producers … I just don’t have a way to contact her.”

Previously, Kailyn told In Touch exclusively on October 31 that when it comes to Jenelle’s situation, she “wishes her the best” moving forward. That statement and her willingness to have Jenelle, 27, on her podcast are kind of a big deal, considering the young women haven’t always had the best relationship. For instance, back in December 2018, Jenelle burned Kailyn’s haircare products which were sent to her as a “peace offering,” and it didn’t seem like the two would ever get along.

But maybe Kail is really feeling for Jenelle and doesn’t want to totally shut her out as she’s going through a tough time. Jenelle officially told her followers she ended things with David, 31, on Halloween, and wrote, “I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions … With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently, and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.”

“Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end, but I know that’s what is best for me and for my kids,” she continued. “Today, I’ve filed papers to start that process.” Her announcement came after her estranged ex made headlines in May 2019 for shooting and killing the family dog Nugget allegedly after it snapped at their daughter, Ensley. MTV revealed they were no longer going to be filming Jenelle “as of April 6, 2019″ in the aftermath of the controversy.
