Jersey Shore’s Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Shares Love Note From Fiance After Postponing Wedding
The wedding may be (temporarily) off, but Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Christian Biscardi’s love is as strong as ever. On Friday, April 17, the former Jersey Shore star took to her Instagram Story to reveal the romantic note her fiancé wrote her. While walking up the stairs of their home, she discovered he’d taped a piece of paper across the walkway bearing the words, “I love you. P.S. You’re pretty.”
Aww! How sweet is that? Sammi, 33, was clearly moved by the gesture — in addition to sharing it with all of her fans, she added a gif of Tangled’s Rapunzel looking lovingly on as well as a heart bearing those same three little words. And the timing of the sweet sentiment couldn’t be more perfect. Just a few days earlier, Us Weekly confirmed the couple postponed their wedding until September due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
The duo got engaged more than a year earlier in March 2019 and have since been eagerly sharing their preparations for the big day. The reality TV alum regularly documents her workout sessions on social media, sharing pictures and videos of her sweating and shredding for the wedding. She also proudly flaunted the bridesmaids dresses she chose and even walked fans through the process of buying a wedding dress, though she was waiting to reveal the gown she chose for herself.
She did give her followers a few hints about what kind of style she went with, however. “I came in, like, I’m dead set on this bridal gown, and then they pulled a bunch of dresses for me, and I picked something that I never thought I would ever pick, ever,” she said in a YouTube video shared on the couple’s channel. “I ended up being so happy with this dress that it completely blew my mind.”
Finding the right ‘fit came as something of a surprise for the star. “I’m kind of a control freak, where I’m like, ‘No, I need to look and find my dress. I need to search this store,’” she admitted in her vlog. “I came to this place and found love with this whole experience, and I picked the dress like right then and there. … It’s a feeling. … I knew what I wanted when it was on my body.”
Thankfully, she’ll only have a few more months to wait before she can slip the gown on and head down the aisle. In the meantime, it looks like her man is doing an amazing job of keeping her spirits up.
