Miley Cyrus Can’t Get Enough of Cody Simpson’s New ‘Golden Thing’ Song: ‘My Heart’

His muse! Miley Cyrus couldn’t help but gush over Cody Simpson’s new song, “Golden Thing,” which was released on Friday, October 18. The 26-year-old pop star uploaded a screenshot of the bop with a link so that fans could instantly stream it in support of her 22-year-old beau. “My heart,” she wrote, along with a black heart emoji.

Clearly, the Australia native is smitten with the blonde beauty. Cody sings, “Crystal dream / Cali queen / Radiant hand / Vibrant sand / I’m shot / It’s a golden thing she’s got / A thousand thrills / A thousand chills / Smokey eye / Pearly white / I’m hot / It’s a golden thing she’s got.” Hmm … pearly whites, Cali queen — this song has Miley written all over it!

Of course, fans took to social media to rave about Cody’s sweet gesture. One person wrote, “He dedicated this beautiful song to Miley,” while another echoed, “I love Miley so much, and I thank Cody for loving her. She’s my golden thing, too. Queen deserves a king like you, Cody. Thank you!” A third person chimed in, writing, “Wedding song vibes. Absolutely beautiful.”

On Tuesday, October 15, the “Malibu” crooner uploaded images of the song file to her Instagram Story and demanded that the Dancing With the Stars alum release the track to the public. “DROP. IT. BABY,” she captioned a screenshot with the title of the song. Luckily, Cody listened to his lady’s demands since he reposted the story, writing, “OK, baby, OK.” Later on, he posted a photo of what appears to be Miley’s neck stacked with necklaces. “Golden Thing. Friday. Presave in bio,” he wrote.

The lovebirds — who were first linked in early October — have been flaunting their relationship all over social media lately. In fact, Cody revealed he was “not single” to In Touch and other reporters at the Tiffany & Co. Men’s Collections Launch at the Hollywood Athletic Club, Los Angeles on October 11. “I’m very happy. Yeah, I’m very, very happy,” he revealed about Miley. “She’s creative, she’s very passionate about what she does and I’m very similar in that sense, that’s why we get along so well. We just have a ball and that’s the most important part of a relationship.”

It sounds like their romance is heating up quickly since Cody seemingly hinted he might want to marry the Tennessee native one day. “Death do us,” the handsome hunk captioned a photo of the two of them on his Instagram Story on October 16. “Miley and Cody have a ton in common. They can sit down and play music until the sun comes up,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “They have a special connection. Everyone is curious to see where this goes.”
