Miley Cyrus Goes Shopping With Mom Tish After Cody Simpson Date

Retail therapy! Miley Cyrus and her mom, Tish Cyrus, shopped ‘till they dropped during a recent outing to the Sherman Oaks Fashion Square Mall in Sherman Oaks, California, on Sunday, October 13 — just hours after she was spotted hanging out with her boyfriend, Cody Simpson.

The 26-year-old pop star had her hands full as she carried several shopping bags — one from Bloomingdale’s and one from AllSaints — in addition to a coffee. Miley sported a white T-shirt — sans bra — and jeans with black boots and a brown hat. Meanwhile, Tish, 52, looked trendy as she wore a black T-shirt with jeans and black booties along with sunglasses and a black purse. The mother-daughter duo looked like they were in good spirits as they walked in the parking lot to find their car.

A few hours before, the “Malibu” crooner was seen with the Australian hunk, 22, in Studio City, where they grabbed a coffee and smiled lovingly at one another. On October 11, the “On My Mind” singer revealed he was “not single” to In Touch and other reporters at the Tiffany & Co. Men’s Collections Launch at the Hollywood Athletic Club, Los Angeles. “I’m very happy. Yeah, I’m very, very happy,” he gushed over his new lady. “She’s creative, she’s very passionate about what she does and I’m very similar in that sense, that’s why we get along so well. We just have a ball and that’s the most important part of a relationship.”

The lovebirds were pals before they started dating, an insider previously told In Touch, and Cody said that is part of the reason why their relationship works so well. “It hasn’t been a really crazy sudden thing,” he explained. “We’ve been friends for so long that when we sort of found each other again in a space where … we both met back in the day when we were partying a lot. We had a lot of fun then. But now we’ve found each other in a space where we’re not partying, working real hard and just like keeps things healthy.”

Cody and Miley have been linked since early October, where they packed on the PDA during an morning date. Since then, the pair has been showing off their love for one another on social media.

Cody also revealed more details about his connection with the Tennessee native. “Any girlfriend that I’ve had in the past has always been immediate romance, and so it’s kind of like a different experience having been friends with somebody before and developing that into something more,” he said. “It’s just like a very natural, healthy feeling.”
