They’re all smiles! Kody Brown and his wife — well, one of his wives — Meri Brown are ready for the big move, and it seems like the couple is doing well these days. Recently, they packed up all their belongings and left the Las Vegas houses the family had been living in for years for their migration to Arizona. And it seems nobody’s shedding any tears about needing to say goodbye to the homes they built. Meri documented the monumental moment on her Instagram page, but she seemed cool as a cucumber. In fact, it wasn’t even her idea to take a pic until her friend suggested it. Watch the video above to see the couple’s move-out picture in Nevada, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

The Sister Wives star seemed glad she’d gotten the shot, though, noting that “we have [another picture] in about the same spot on move-in day almost 6 years ago.” She even called the photo “Christmas card material,” which is saying something! What we noticed, though, were the hashtags — #LivingMyWhy, #BecauseICan, and #LifeIsAnAdventure — which seem to refer to all of the rumors that suggested she was leaving Kody and her life as a sister wife behind. Instead, it looks like they’re at least putting up a happy front and going on the “adventure” together.

And don’t think we didn’t see that #FlagstaffFashion hashtag. It looks like Meri is excited to continue hawking Lula Roe gear in her new state — despite the controversy that company has been facing after being accused of fraud in a new lawsuit. Kody’s first wife hardly seems to be sweating it or her family’s big move.

In fact, most of the family seems eager to ditch Nevada and head to Arizona instead. “As much as we’ve loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona! We are looking forwards to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views, and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff,” the reality stars told People. During a summer visit to the state, they also took to social media to share their excitement about the cooler weather.

“The temp was in the low 80s!” Meri’s sister wife Janelle Brown wrote over the summer, noting that she and a few family members had “ran away from the heat for a few days.” And they found a nice reprieve in Flagstaff. “30 degrees cooler than home!” Janelle exclaimed.

Of course, this is hardly the first time the family’s had to pick up all of their stuff and head out on a new adventure. Back in 2011, they left their lives in Utah behind to avoid persecution on polygamy charges. “There was an immense amount of peace that we felt in arriving to Las Vegas,” Kody explained in an interview. “It was like, ‘OK, this is our new home and here we believe we will experience freedom.” Looks like the freedom of Vegas couldn’t quite compare to the climate of Flagstaff — but we’re sure that everyone will still settle in just fine.
