Even though Lamar Odom was voted off during the Monday, October 7, episode of Dancing With the Stars, the athlete had nothing but positive things to say about his experience. “It was humbling. I learned I can do anything I put my mind to,” he told In Touch and other reporters after the episode of DWTS aired.

So, what did the 39-year-old take away from his time on the show? “That I can do anything if I put my mind to it. That I’m a fighter. That I never quit,” he admitted. “And I tried something new. I failed, but I learned something new about myself.”

At the end of the day, Lamar couldn’t have asked for a better partner and is happy he got to strut his stuff on the dance floor with Peta Murgatroyd. “She’s an amazing teacher,” he gushed. “She’s like the Kobe Bryant of ballroom dances. She has two championships. I made a family member. So, I have a sister. I never had sister before.”

However, earlier in the night, there was a bit of a snafu as Lamar was caught adjusting his package on camera. Erin Andrews was chatting with Hannah Brown, and the camera panned over to Lamar as he was tugging, fixing and maybe even scratching his crotch. Unfortunately, Lamar didn’t realize that the moment had gone viral, but he was able to laugh about it afterward. “Yeah, I think there’s … The Shade Room caught me adjusting myself,” he confessed. “It makes me feel like a little creep. I’m blessed. I guess that means I’m blessed.” Does he mean ~down there?~

The dad of three continued to explain what exactly happened. “I had to adjust myself. It’s the outfit,” he said. “But it’s the truth … You understand the problem. It’s nothing to be ashamed about. I had fun.”

The NBA player doesn’t quite have a plan for what he wants to do next, but he is excited for future opportunities. “I have some free time on my hands. Maybe I can focus on my public speaking?” he said. “Change some lives with my story. Maybe just go celebrate my book, a New York Times bestseller. Focus on my children. Maybe a vacation.”

You have definitely earned a trip, Lamar!
