Awkward! Lamar Odom was caught adjusting his package during his appearance on Dancing With the Stars on Monday, October 7. While host Erin Andrews was talking with Hannah Brown, Lamar was spotted tugging, fixing and maybe even scratching his crotch. Oh, and it didn’t stop there as Lamar looked at his hands afterward.
Unfortunately, the 39-year-old didn’t realize that all eyes were on him at that moment until he saw the clip go viral later on. “Yeah, I think there’s … The Shade Room caught me adjusting myself. It makes me feel like a little creep,” he told In Touch and other reporters after after the October 7 episode of Dancing With the Stars aired. “I’m blessed. I guess that means I’m blessed.” Uhh … is Lamar referring to how large his private part is? However, the athlete continued to explain what really happened. “I had to adjust myself. It’s the outfit,” he admitted. “But it’s the truth … You understand the problem. It’s nothing to be ashamed about. I had fun.”
Of course, fans couldn’t help but comment about Lamar’s incident. One person wrote, “Ewww,” while another echoed, “Dude got that itch.” A third person chimed in, writing, “They could have scooted the camera over.”
Lamar’s night only got worse, though, since he was ultimately sent home after he received two four’s for his Viennese waltz with Peta Murgatroyd. Despite their low score, Peta said she was so “proud” of Lamar.
The New York native chose to remain positive after his dancing journey came to an end. “I feel all right. I feel good,” he told Entertainment Tonight after the show. “The sun will shine tomorrow. I’ll wake up, work out, move forward. It means a lot, especially when I see Peta crying, my sister here. I would [have] liked to move on, but since it didn’t happen, now I can just move on to other things in my life. Public speaking, telling people my story and I figure I can change lives doing that.”
Lamar also touched upon his near-fatal overdose in October 2015 and revealed he has come out on top since then. “My cognitive memory … just memorizing the dance routine was difficult at times, but I felt like I got better every week. It’s so crazy because I felt like this was my best dance tonight.”
The dad of three is in a relationship with Sabrina Parr, and she has been there for him since he began starring on the ABC show. “She’s great. She’s amazing,” he previously told In Touch and other reporters on September 23. Additionally, Lamar was happy he got out of his comfort zone. “It’s definitely a workout on my legs. My legs feel stronger, so I’ll probably be ready to play basketball again soon.”
It sounds like Lamar is doing better than ever, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
