She’s not holding anything back. Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and her ex Thomas Ravenel have been locked in a custody battle since October 2018, and now she wants him to respond to questions about his drug use. She’s using every weapon she has during their legal battle, and back in December 2018 brought up his sexual assault allegations as well. Now, according to court documents obtained by In Touch, she’s hoping to force the father of her children to provide answers about the prescription and illegal drugs she claims he’s used.

In the October court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Kathryn, 27, accused Thomas, 56, of having “drunk alcohol to excess, mixed with prescription drugs, that [had] caused him to be impaired during periods of time in which he had custody of the children.” That same month, she filed for primary custody of their kids following his legal troubles, and now she seems to be providing even more evidence as to why she needs it. “Please identify every prescription drug and/or illegal drug that you have used during the past six years,” the docs demand.

In addition to making accusations, she’s also combatting some allegations that he’s made against her. According to documents from early January, the father-of-two claimed that his ex-wife “abuses prescription drugs,” “is engaged in the use of illegal drugs,” “buys, sells, and trades prescription medications to and from friends, cast members, and show producers” and “purchased synthetic urine for purposes of passing court-ordered drug tests in the past.” And that wasn’t it. He also wrote that she only filed her complaint “for the purpose of garnering media attention” and “creating material for her storyline on Southern Charm.”

The paperwork continued, “[she] has been intoxicated by the abuse of prescription drugs and/or use of illegal drugs while in sole care,” and Kathryn is challenging him to provide evidence for those claims. She’s also turning those same allegations around on him. “What date was it when you threw a party in your home downtown with illegal drugs present and you informed fellow party participants while standing in the bathroom that mushrooms don’t show up on drug screens?” she asks in the documents. It’s clear this custody battle is turning nasty — but that the truth is sure to come out.
