She’s sure things are gonna work out! Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice seems to believe her husband, Joe Giudice, is coming home once he’s released from prison, she explained on an episode of the show. But he’s set to be deported from the United States back to his native Italy once his time in jail is over, so we aren’t so sure Teresa is right about this one.

As she was visiting Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey‘s new home on the latest episode of the series, Teresa spoke of how excited she is to have Joe come home once he’s served his time. “How is he, is he good?” Danielle asked the RHONJ star after she got back from seeing her husband. Teresa said that he is, and Danielle asked what the couple talks about during their visits.

“Yeah we talk about what he wants to do when he gets out, everything,” Teresa replied. She later added, “The closer it gets to Joe getting out all is I think about is soon he will be home,” she said. “I don’t even talk about deportation — that’s all negative thought. To me, Joe is coming home and that’s it.” Putting those positive vibes out into the universe — we get it!

Teresa also said her kids — Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana — “can’t wait” for Joe to come home. So apparently the whole family is hoping the whole deportation thing will just … go away?

In July 2013, both Joe and Teresa Giudice were indicted on 39 counts of fraud and tax charges and later faced an additional two counts that November. Joe was given a 41-month prison sentence, and when the judge told him in October 2018 that he could be deported, Joe responded by saying, in part, “I have to go back and tell my kids this. They’ve been waiting to hear from me.” Sounds like this is going to, unfortunately, be a rough journey for the whole Giudice family.
