Don’t mess with Joe Giudice! One of The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s followers commented on his recent Instagram video of himself at the gym and asked if he has a job. However, the 47-year-old couldn’t help but respond to the message. “I need a tan,” Joe captioned the clip of him boxing — shirtless — at the gym on Thursday, December 19. “Do you ever work? Your wife is raising your daughters,” the troll wrote, referring to his estranged wife, Teresa Giudice, and their four daughters — Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. “Every day,” the Italy native replied.

Naturally, many of Joe’s followers had his back. One person wrote, “You know you can work and go to the gym on the same day. He doesn’t need to explain that to you,” while another echoed, “Are you serious? @Joe.Giudice can’t be with his kids and that’s what you say?!” A third person chimed in, writing, “Given what he has been through, that is harsh.”

This is hardly the first fitness post Joe has uploaded, either. Ever since the Bravo personality joined Instagram — following his release from ICE custody in October after he completed a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in March — he has been sharing what he’s been up while living abroad with his followers.

Clearly, the businessman has been trying to keep himself busy ever since In Touch confirmed he and Teresa, 47, are no longer together on December 17. “Teresa and Joe have split, but everyone saw it coming,” a source revealed. “Even their daughters knew it was coming and their recent trip to Italy was all about spending quality time together and discussing the real issue at hand — they were splitting up.”

Despite Teresa and their four daughters taking a trip overseas to see Joe, it seems like their relationship wasn’t meant to be after 20 years of marriage. Even though it will be a bit of a change for the family, their children are adjusting nicely. “Teresa and Joe explained that they would always be their parents, and respect each other, but it was time for them to go their separate ways,” a second source told In Touch exclusively. “The girls got it, all four of them understood the situation.”

In the end, the decision was for the best. “The girls will be fine. Joe and Teresa too,” the insider added. “It’s been a good long run, it’s very bittersweet, but it was inevitable.”
