Onto the next! On Thursday, March 14, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice was released from prison but is now in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), In Touch can confirm.

On February 26, Radar Online reported that the Italy native would not be returning home to his wife, Teresa Giudice, and their kids Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9.

“ICE expects the Bureau of Prisons Allenwood Low Federal Correctional Institution to honor our detainer, and Mr. Giudice will be taken into ICE custody,” an official told the outlet.

In October, a judge ruled that Joe, 46, must be deported to Italy since he pleaded guilty to multiple charges of fraud including mail, wire and bankruptcy in March 2014. However, his legal team is fighting for him to stay in the U.S. Until then, though, the Bravo personality will remain in a detention center for potentially up to a year until the appeal is processed.

“I’ve been here my whole life, I wouldn’t know what to do in any other country,” he told the judge during his October court hearing. “I want to stay here.”

Even though Teresa and Joe have been married for two decades, it doesn’t look like the brunette beauty will be going with him overseas. “Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken to Milania or Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet, and Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me,” Teresa told Andy Cohen at the RHONJ reunion. “She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.’”

She continued, “I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it. You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing; it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye-bye.’”

The fitness competitor was spotted holding hands with her alleged boy toy Blake Schreck in Miami in February.

Only time will tell what happens next.
