So scary! On Thursday, May 30, Jennifer Aniston recalled how her plane had to make an emergency landing back in February.

The 50-year-old’s pals including Friends alum Courteney Cox and Jimmy Kimmel’s wife, Molly McNearney, surprised the actress with a trip to Mexico for her quarter life celebration. “It was one of those things on the takeoff, on the taxi, we heard an explosion, which it sounded like a pothole if it was a car big enough to go over the Grand Canyon,” Jen recalled during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “It was that loud. Then, everybody thought, ‘Well, that’s weird.’”

The California native made it clear that she was freaking out over the incident. “I have a real fear of flying, but nobody [else] does. Courteney, whose father is a pilot, never afraid, was like, ‘Should we check that?’” she said. “We take off and two hours in, the flight attendant comes over to me and says, ‘The pilot wants to talk to you.’” However, the brunette beauty didn’t want to hear what was going on, so her friend went to talk to the crew instead. “Then, 10 minutes later, she comes out. She says, ‘Well, we have turned around, we are actually going back to California. They think they found some debris from a wheel on the runway,’” she said.

Soon enough, everyone was on their phones texting their significant others and children. “I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ You were one of them,” she said to the talk show host, 51.

Even though everyone was freaked out, Jimmy decided to make his wife laugh. “I am googling, ‘Can you land without a tire?’ I am not kidding,” he said. Then, Jen pulled up what exactly Jimmy texted his wife. “This is the loving response that Molly got when she said, ‘Jimmy, I love you, and I love Jane, and you have always been an incredible husband,’” she said.

The Golden Globe winner showed the audience the message. “I just signed up for Tinder, but I PROMISE not to activate it until we know what’s what,” Jimmy wrote at the time. Molly responded, “How dare you.” Jimmy also sent a shirtless selfie of himself wearing a backward cap. “This is my profile picture,” he wrote.

In the end, everyone was safe, and now, they can all laugh about the event. “I was trying to lighten the mood,” the dad of four said. “Meanwhile, I signed up for Tinder, and it’s going great.” LOL, way to keep us on our toes, Jimmy!

Despite the frightening situation, it seems like Jen still had a great birthday, and that’s all that matters.
