Jenelle Evans and David Eason Are Like, Really Bad at This Parenting Thing — According to Fans
Are Jenelle Evans' kids safe? Well, that depends on who you ask. The Teen Mom 2 star and her husband, David Eason, were called out on Instagram after David shared a photo of the couple in the front seat of a car with Jenelle's two boys, Jace, 8, and Kaiser, 3, in the back. Fans noticed the way Kaiser was buckled into his car seat and immediately were scared for his safety. Watch the video to check out the way Kaiser was seated!
Surprisingly, some fans actually stood up for Jenelle and attacked the people who were mommy-shaming the 26-year-old. "@mad_eee are you a mom? If not, then you don't understand what kids do. They can move [the strap] on their own…But everyone has their own opinion…[By the way] no one is perfect, so let's not try and judge others," one user wrote. Another person said, "I'm pretty sure that if you guys were terrible parents then all [of] those kids would be taken from you. Keep doing what your doing because all I see is how happy they are."
Those defenders, however, were few and far between. By now, Jenelle and David are probably used to the hate, especially when it comes to the way they parent their children. Just recently, Jenelle and David were shamed over the same issue.
The couple's one-year-old daughter, Ensley, was sleeping peacefully in her car seat when fans attacked them for being incapable of strapping her in correctly. Not only did followers warn Jenelle to "fix the sweet girl's straps," but they also noted that the blunder could be life-threatening.
David took the bait — but he didn't lash out. He actually made light of the situation and showed Ensley buckling her own straps in a series of photos with the caption, "I don't need your opinion guys, I can buckle myself! #worryaboutyourself."
As for Jenelle, she probably won't comment on the backlash. The only hate that she's addressing right now is about her own body after fans were convinced she was pregnant…again! The reality star took to Instagram to share two sizzling bikini pics — showing off her incredibly flat tummy — along with the caption, "They will say ‘she's pregnant’. #Summer #GoodVibes #Bikini #Rumors."
