When word got out that Jenelle Evans‘ ex-husband Courtland Rogers was arrested for the second time this year — on a charge of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule III substance — the Teen Mom 2 star was quick to respond. “Not surprising, that’s all I have to say,” she told E! News. And while Jenelle made no mention of Courtland’s newest arrest on social media, fans quickly took to Twitter to bash him after he shared a message about loving his newborn son.

“Goodnight world. [Though] y’all may be sleeping, I have a curious 13-day-old son staring at me, still figuring out this life outside of the womb thing,” Courtland tweeted. “And I just have to admit that I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH HIM!!! He’s PERFECT.”

Yet one fan questioned Courtland’s loyalty to his child. “But you aren’t in love with him enough to stay out of jail?” Another said, “Yet here you are in the revolving door that is jail. Stop being a piece of trash with all these excuses. Get a job & take care of your kids…Break the cycle, dude.”

Courtland was booked on April 10 after being released from his previous stint behind bars on March 19. Since his second arrest is considered a Class 1 felony and he violated his probation, he could probably face some substantial time in jail.

Back in December 2017, Courtland took to Twitter to reassure fans that he was finished using drugs. He tweeted, “So NOW, with two and a half years of sobriety & preparing for my son’s birth, I am focused on my family because in the end… that’s ALL THAT MATTERS.” He has yet to publicly address the new arrest or any of the comments made against him, including Jenelle’s.
