Last September, it was reported that Jenelle Evans‘ newborn daughter had tested positive for marijuana at birth. Now, the Teen Mom 2 star is admitting to using drugs while pregnant but insists Ensley was clean.

“I’m not going to lie about that. I tested positive for THC, and Ensley did not test positive. I did,” she told Vince Russo on The Brand podcast. “So [Child Protective Services] were like — I was in the hospital — they said, ‘Did you smoke when you were pregnant?’ I said, ‘I did within the past 30 days. I said I have really bad esophageal spasms and I throw up every 5 minutes, I can’t even eat.’ And they said, ‘OK, some moms do that. We are not here to judge, we are writing down your information.'”

She continued, “After I had Ensley, they said CPS will just come by to do a [wellness] check since you tested positive. They came and did a checkup, and everything is fine. They closed the case.” However, Jenelle went on to claim that CPS has visited her family “like 30 times” since due to online rumors about her parenting but reassured fans she is clean. “If I were on drugs, I wouldn’t be able to sit here in the morning and get the kids ready and eat healthily,” she added. “Or I’d be losing a lot of weight.”

Previously, her ex Nathan Griffith‘s mother Doris filed for emergency custody of Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, after it was revealed she tested positive for drugs at her daughter’s birth in January. However, both parties are reportedly working on an agreement outside of court. “Basically, Doris is backing down,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “Doris is hoping to get Jenelle to agree to make a schedule for Kaiser.”

And in typical Jenelle fashion, she is blaming her mom Barbara. “Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them,” she told E! News at the time. “I can tell you that they are allegations, mostly driven by my mom. Our lawyers are working out a new agreement.”

It’s no surprise fans are demanding MTV to fire Jenelle and her husband David Eason, who recently homophobic and transphobic comments online. This confession definitely won’t help.
