He’s got something to say. Derick Dillard responded to a comment on Twitter about his wife, Jill Duggar, “promoting” sex on her social media, and he doesn’t agree that’s what his wife’s been doing when she shares games including spicy Pictionary, sexy scavenger hunts and positions dice on Instagram.

A Twitter user took a screenshot of a recent update to Jill’s Instagram Story and replied to one of Derick’s tweets on August 21, “Why is wifey promoting SEXXXXX for money!?!? What happened to conservative values …” Derick, 30, clapped back, “She’s promoting ways to invest in healthy marriage — part of conservative values.”

That comment was likely spurred on by Jill, 28, sharing photos of the book she was promoting on Instagram called A Year of Sexy Dates. Ideas included “Strip Never Have I Ever” and “Sexy Shopping,” and we can understand why some of Jill and Derick’s more … vanilla followers may have been ~scandalized.~

But those followers are likely also not happy about a blog post Derick shared on August 21, in which he promoted married couples having “lots of good sex” multiple times a week. “You both need this time together regularly (5-6 times (or more) a week is a good start),” he wrote. “Guys, you need to keep yourself ‘joyfully available’ for your wife, because only you can fulfill certain desires she might have … And when you may not be able to actually have intercourse for a period of time or for health issues, find other ways to have fun and be intimate.”

When Derick’s 19 Kids and Counting alum wife shared his blog post on her Instagram, some fans were more amused than shaken by the content. “Hot love?!? You guys have gone a bit x rated recently! 😂” one person wrote. Another commented, “Y’all might be ready for some whips, chains and hot wax next 😍” Whether or not Jill is “promoting sex for money,” if she’s doing it to draw attention to her relationship with her hubby, it certainly seems to be working.
