David Eason Claims He Was the ‘Only One’ Taking Care of Kaiser as Jenelle and Nathan Make Amends

Calling It Quits

Jenelle, 27, announced that she was leaving David, 31, in October, and she decided to move to another state because she felt that was the best choice for her and her children.

Since then, David has been sharing photos and updates about his life post-split, recently writing about how much it hurts him to be away from his daughter Ensley.

“I miss my baby more than she could ever imagine and I know she misses me too! I would give anything to take her hunting again right now,” he confessed in his caption on November 21.

Splitting Up

The MTV alum’s new post led one fan to ask him if he also missed Jenelle’s son Kaiser.

Speaking Out

“Of course I do,” David replied. “I’m the only one who fed him, wiped his baby butt, gave him a bath everyday, taught him everything he knows.”

Fan Questions

Another asked David if Jenelle has reached out to her stepdaughter, Maryssa, after they broke up. “I’ve got a stepdaughter and I will always be there for her regardless,” the commenter wrote. “You know she has to feel abandoned as well.”

Shocking Claims

That’s when David said his daughter never received one single “ounce of attention” from the 16 and Pregnant alum, adding, “why would she now?”

Family Life

As we previously reported, David and Jenelle regained custody of their daughter, Ensley, as well as her son Kaiser on July 3. Jenelle’s son Jace has been under the care of her mom, Barbara Evans.

Fresh Start

In the wake of Jenelle’s split from David, her ex Nathan Griffith, 32, has taken to social media to address how “healthy” their coparenting dynamic has become with their son, Kaiser.

Taking to Social Media

“It’s sad how bitter people deflect negative attention to cover up their own insecurities. Hoping to justify their actions by the finding comfort in the approval of others,” Nathan wrote.

Embracing the Now

Nathan also mentioned how he’s “so” appreciative to finally be on the same page as Jenelle.

“Something we should of had [three to four] years ago. Especially one that everyone is supportive with,” he added.

Making Strides

Jenelle shared the same sentiments in her response. “Thank you for being there for Kaiser and helping out lately,” she wrote while retweeting his message.

Whirlwind Summer

After regaining custody of Kaiser and her daughter in July, Jenelle said her two kids were “happy as can be” back at home. Obviously, her relationship with David has fallen apart since then.

Walking Away

On Halloween, the TV personality revealed that she decided to walk away from her marriage.

“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” the 27-year-old wrote at the time.

Trusting the Process

“I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty, but it’s been my life. Like anyone else, I want what’s best for my kids, and I want to be happy,” Jenelle continued.

Looking Ahead

The reality star said her time away from Teen Mom has allowed her to clear her mind. “I’ve started to look at my life differently, and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now,” she added, addressing how she is now focused on moving forward.
