Get on the ‘gram, man! Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox want their former Friends costar Matthew Perry to start posting pictures on social media — but for a good reason. “Courteney and Jen are trying to persuade Matt to join Instagram in a bid to boost his confidence,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “Jen couldn’t stop smiling when she broke world records for the fastest account to gain one million followers, and she thinks Matt could do the same!”

The insider continued, “They’re rallying around Matt to make him feel loved, especially Courteney, who hates seeing her pal so lonely. While their careers have flourished since Friends, Matt’s spent years battling his demons and rarely leaves the house.”

However, these days, the 50-year-old actor has been spending time with his old pals. On November 7, Matthew and Courteney, 55, reunited for a meal. “Guess who I had lunch with today … I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #RealFriends,” she wrote at the time.

But fans were quick to notice that the 17 Again star wasn’t looking too good. One person wrote, “Seriously, nobody is going to say anything about his face?! What happened to him?” while another echoed, “Even I was wondering something is off about his face.”

Just a few days earlier, the Massachusetts native looked worse for wear while on a date in West Hollywood on November 4. “Matthew was disheveled, he seemed really out of it,” another insider told In Touch about his night out. “He was laughing, swerving and swaying.”

Unfortunately, Matthew’s costars are worried about his state of mind. “Jen, 50, Courteney, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are deeply concerned about Matthew and fear he’s on a slippery slope,” the source said. “They’re doing everything in his power to save him.”

Meanwhile, the original castmembers from the NBC series might be reuniting on the small screen again. A Friends reunion special is reportedly “in the works” at HBO Max, The Hollywood Reporter reported on November 12. The potential special is not a reboot, but “a scripted reunion.” Don’t get too excited yet though as the deal is “far from done.”

If the new series gets the green light, then this could be a good way for Matthew to get his career back on track again. We hope Matthew’s buddies help him along the way.
