Chandler and Monica have reunited. Courteney Cox grabbed a bite to eat with her former Friends costar Matthew Perry on Thursday, November 7, taking to Instagram with a selfie of them smiling while spending time together. The dynamic duo appeared to be in great spirits, just a few days after photos emerged of the actor “looking really out of it” in West Hollywood.

“Guess who I had lunch with today … I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends,” the actress, 55, captioned the nostalgic snap with her former TV husband, leading some of their costars to show some love in the comment section.

Lisa Kudrow wrote, “Lucky Lucky #beautifulpeople.” Jennifer Aniston also chimed in by writing, “MATTY!! ❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE YOU, GUYS.”

Courteney and Matthew’s outing comes a few days after he made headlines. On November 4, the actor, 50, was spotted looking worse for wear following a dinner date in West Hollywood. “Matthew was disheveled, he seemed really out of it,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “He was laughing, swerving and swaying.”

The photos that emerged also showed a mystery woman seemingly consoling Matthew. “She felt sorry for him. It didn’t appear like a girlfriend situation at all. She was definitely comforting him, rubbing his arm, trying to talk to him about getting home, getting some rest. He was very messy, sloppy,” the insider further explained. “He looked like a homeless man.”

Eyewitnesses told In Touch the woman was treating him kindly and just wanted to make sure he got home OK. “He did not drive. The girl got him a car, I think it was an Uber,” the source shared. “Matthew was feeling no pain, [but] he didn’t look good at all, definitely didn’t seem to care about his appearance or anyone seeing him.”

Matthew has struggled with his sobriety in the past, having first checked into rehab in 1997, later returning in 2001 and again in 2011. “I couldn’t stop. Eventually, things got so bad that I couldn’t hide it, and everybody knew,” he said in 2013, noting how getting sober is a “really hard thing to do.”

Prior to his evening out at the hotspot, he was last seen with all of his Friends costars in a heartwarming photo posted by Jennifer while making her big debut on Instagram.
