Bonnie Jo Chapman Says Her Father ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ Won’t Remarry After Mother’s Death
The Chapman family is speaking out after the loss of their mother Beth Chapman. Youngest daughter, Bonnie Jo Chapman, took to her Instagram Story on Monday, July 15, to answer questions from fans and said she doesn’t think her dad Duane ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ Chapman will ever remarry.
“Nope, he found his soulmate,” the 20-year-old revealed during the extensive Q&A session. “No one can replace her in his heart. Their love was one of a kind, it made me believe love truly exists.” Beth, 51, succumbed to throat cancer last month, and since then, Duane, 66, has been very vocal about his feelings after the loss of his wife.
Duane spoke with Entertainment Tonight and said that Beth prepared him for life without her. “For two to three years, she knew this might happen,” he said. “So she would say, ‘Who is going to sit next to you?’ And I said, ‘No one,” he continued. “‘Big Daddy, you better not let another girl take my place.’ I said, ‘I won’t.’”
The two were married for 13 years before Beth’s passing. Dog gave a moving speech at her two-hour-long memorial service on Saturday, July 13. “She was so gorgeous,” he said. “People would say that and she wouldn’t never believe it, but I told her all the time she is gorgeous, she was so pretty.”
Bonnie also added some touching remarks at the memorial service and talked about how life without her mother will be undoubtedly difficult. “I’ve never imagined I would lose my mom at 20,” she said. “I never imagined walking down the aisle without her or her not judging my dress. I never imagined a life without her, it’s really tough now being without her.”
Beth passed away on June 26 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. She was diagnosed with throat cancer in September of 2017. Beth was 51 years old.
