Uncles always have your back! Billy Baldwin took to Instagram to defend his newlywed niece, Hailey Baldwin, to shutdown conspiracies that her husband, Justin Bieber, will always love his ex Selena Gomez.

“So, I think for Selena and Justin, they are each other’s ones and when it’s like that, even though they didn’t marry, when it’s like that, the person you’re with, like Hailey, knows that and knows it well,” host Marci Len said in the clip. “She may be Mrs. Bieber but Selena will forever have his heart,” she added.

“Really … wow!! 👎🏽,” he commented on a video from The Social on Wednesday, October 23.

The hubbub around Justin, 25, and Selena’s romance has been continuously a part of the narrative for years, but after Selena, 27, released “Lose You to Love Me,” the chatter is at an all-time high. Fans are convinced that the new track is about Justin and his new wife.

“I gave my all and they all know it/You turned me down and now it’s showing/In two months, you replaced us/Like it was easy/Made me think I deserved it/In the thick of healing, yeah,” the song lyrics read. Jelena called it quits for good in March 2018, and by June, he was engaged to the blonde model, 22.

Although the lyrics seem pretty telling, an insider exclusively told In Touch exclusively that Selena didn’t intend any hate by her words. “Selena didn’t mean for the song to be shady, but songwriting to her is part of her therapy. So, she had to put it down on paper and release it,” the insider explained. “That’s part of her process, and it works for her.”

As for Justin and Hailey’s thoughts on the new song, they’re pretty over all the attention. “Meanwhile, Justin and Hailey hope this is the last song she has about her ex. They just want Selena to leave them alone,” the source added.

Fans thought Hailey responded to the song when she was listening to “I’ll Kill You” by Summer Walker on her Instagram Story. She quickly shut down the idea that her choice in music was influenced by Selena’s lyrics. “Please stop with this nonsense. There is no ‘response.’ This is just complete BS,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram comment. Looks like the Biebers and Baldwins are totally over the rumor mill.
