It’s an ongoing struggle. Beth Chapman has been inspiring fans with her strength and bravery while fighting cancer. When one of her followers addressed her own battle with the disease, Beth shared a supportive message in return, slamming “insensitive talk” amongst family members.

“I am fighting breast cancer,” the fan tweeted at Beth, 51, on May 28. “Some family members just are awful. Someone in my family claims that it is just drama when you are so sick in hospital from treatments and almost die is far from drama. @MrsdogC you are in my prayers. Stay strong.”

Beth related to her struggles and opened up about how difficult it is to hear such remarks. “Yes I agree there is very insensitive talk that goes on amongst family members that’s not appropriate for the person going through it,” the Dog’s Most Wanted star wrote. “It actually makes things worse.”

Beth Chapman Hurt Insensitive Cancer Battle

Several of Beth’s commenters were showing support to the A&E alum underneath her candid tweet. “I would not worry your self on what rude family has to say I would just focus on you and the battle with cancer focus on beating it and try to always be happy regardless of what some people has to say, your’e really awesome Beth,” one chimed in. “Its hard when family is so distanced, especially when we need them the most. Sending positive vibes Beth,” another sweetly added.

As we previously reported, Beth found out her cancer returned in November 2018 and she started chemotherapy the next month, after it spread to her throat and lungs. Her loving husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, 66, recently said they are now no longer resorting to “conventional treatments.”

Despite everything going on in her life at the moment, Beth has maintained a positive attitude and Duane even gushed over her incredible sense of humor. Most recently, she was surrounded by her loved ones for Mother’s Day and she shared a sweet snap with Leland. “This guy had [me] laughing all weekend what a joy to be around thank you god for blessing me with such a kind young man #mothersday @lelandbchapman thank you for coming,” she wrote. Stay strong!
