It’s been a rough month for Dog The Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman, ever since she found out her cancer diagnosis had returned in November. But one thing Duane “Dog” Chapman‘s wife has continuously been throughout the struggle is optimistic. So naturally we were so thrilled to see Beth enjoying herself, when she took to social media to post a photo of herself enjoying a martini on Dec. 22.

“Last Saturday of shopping before Christmas. Good luck to all of you who wait till the last minute… We’ll be over here at the martini bar,” she captioned the adorable photo with her orange-colored martini. Her smile is honestly infectious — we love seeing her so happy right now, despite the severity of her diagnosis. Plus, she looks incredible.

Luckily, there’s been a lot of fun and excitement in the Chapman household lately. Beth posted a sweet Insta vid in tribute to her stepson Leland Chapman‘s birthday on Dec. 14. “Let the birthday shenanigans begin,” she wrote. “Happy birthday @lelandbchapman. I’m so happy you came to spend your birthday with us. Let the reindeer games begin. @jamiepchapman @cecilybeezee @bonniejoc @cole.lehmann @garrychapman @duanedogchapman,” she tagged friends and family in the cute post. You can totally hear Beth laughing in the video too, as she attempts to sneak up on her stepson while he’s on the phone.

It’s been lovely seeing Beth in great spirits since her throat cancer returned and she had to undergo emergency surgery on Nov. 27. Her husband, Dog, and his kids have been extremely vocal about their support for the 51-year-old as she deals with her incurable diagnosis.

With Christmas right around the corner, we hope this one is a particularly special one for the Chapmans. Let’s just hope Beth decides to post a cute NYE pic — knowing her, she’ll be decked out like a disco ball for the occasion.
