Hollywood has a new interior designer in town, folks … Ben Affleck! The actor, 46, recently transformed his 6-year-old son’s bedroom into a New England Patriot fan’s paradise after learning that his son was not a Boston sports fan…Watch the video above to see how it all went down, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel!

Don’t worry, he sure is a fan now! The Boston native appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Valentine’s Day, where he gave the play-by-play on how he forced his son to hop on the Tom Brady bandwagon.

“The game before … the World Series game, I took my kids to the game, On the way to the game, I was kind of giving my kids a pep talk …  my kids are 13, 10 and 6, about to be 7, and I was telling my 6-year-old, my son in particular, you know, ‘We’re really excited because we’re from Boston and this is a big deal and the Red Sox’ and I’m giving him the whole history,” the father-of-three told the host, 51.

Clearly, Samuel was not into the whole “Boston pride” thing. “He listens to me and then he stops and goes, Dad. You’re from Boston. I’m from L.A.” At first, the lifelong New England sports fan was heartbroken “I failed, I’m a bad father, this is a disaster, I don’t know what to do!” he confessed to Jimmy.

The Justice League actor went on to say “there’s a certain sort of tragic pain that you carry with you as a person from Boston that you expect to imbue to your children that they’re gonna carry on. Like, we suffer through the cold and the misery, and we lose big sporting events.”

Thankfully that tragic pain was short-lived, all because of Ben’s epic idea. The Oscar Winner decided to call up his buddies — who are painters, carpenters, basically, anyone who could transform his son’s bedroom — and “helped him understand where he comes from, if not literally, then at least spiritually.”

Of course, the Batman alum had his goal accomplished — and even showed Jimmy the pictures to prove it. Samuel’s room now includes a giant football slide, a giant poster of Tom Brady on the wall and, wait for it … a chair shaped like the infamous quarterback’s head. While some may think it’s a little too much, you can never really have too much TB12.

Well, we know at least one person who hates it … Ben’s ex Jennifer Garner. “My ex-wife thinks it’s creepy,” Ben laughed and simply disagreed, “I think it’s appropriate for grown men to make totems and idols out of other grown men.”

Tom loved it as well! Ben admitted that he did send a picture of his son’s room to the famous Patriots player. “He was very nice, he sent my son a football and a jersey, signed,” he told Jimmy.
