Has anyone seen Ben Affleck? Oh wait, we barely recognized him! The doting dad, 46, appeared to be heading into a meeting at an office building in Santa Monica, CA on February 6 looking all sorts of dapper. Luckily, it looks like he’s finally healed after undergoing dental surgery. The last time the photogs caught him on camera, he was looking, erm, a little worse for wear.

Coming Clean.

Back in October, the father-of-three opened up about his struggles with alcohol addiction in a vulnerable statement shared to Instagram. “This week I completed a 40-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care,” the actor’s heartfelt message began. “The support I have received from my family, colleagues and fans means more to me than I can say. It’s given me strength and support to speak about my illness with others.”

Now, however, it looks as though Ben is in a much better place. In fact, his ex-girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, has been reaching out.

Reconnecting?

“[Lindsay] still reaches out to check on how he’s doing,” a source told In Touch exclusively last month. “She and Ben parted as friends, it wasn’t this nasty breakup that some have said. He needed to get his life in order, by that I mean get sober.”

And Jennifer Garner‘s got his back, too. Despite their divorce, a friend of Ben’s revealed to People that the two remain close. “Ben will always want the best for Jen,” they told the outlet last year. “They continue to have a really strong relationship and both work very hard to make everything easy for the kids. She has always been supportive of him.”
