Amy Roloff Doesn’t Like Seeing Her Kids and Grandkids With Caryn: “It’s the Hardest Thing to Watch”
Little people, big drama! On last night's brand new episode of Little People, Big World, Amy Roloff opened up about what it's like working with her ex-husband's girlfriend — and it's not exactly pleasant. Caryn Chandler has been the manager at Roloff Farm since 2011, and she's also dating Matt Roloff. #Awk. Watch the video above to find out what Amy had to say!
Later, Matt told cameras that his ex of nearly 30 years is "insecure." He said, "Amy doesn't have a good sense of what it takes to run the farm. Amy can be very, very insecure. I try to be as patient and easy as possible." Ouch.
Amy added that she no longer trusts Matt, with whom she has four children. "You know having a conversation with Matt nowadays, it's hard. It's very hard. I just, I don't trust Matt. I don't know for me if it's as easy to do business with Matt as it used to be. But I have to stand my ground and not get so intimidated."
When the duo announced their divorce, they made a statement promising to remain cordial and make it work, for not only their children but also their business. "After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce. We are proud of what we have accomplished together, including raising our four wonderful children, who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful businesses," the statement read. "Our kids and our ever-growing family, and the love and support we have for them will be our priority. We will continue to work together side-by-side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures. We would like to thank our family, friends, and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time."
However, in a recent promo for the hit TLC show, Matt revealed he wants to put their joint business behind him and sell the farm. "I just want my own path away from the farm, away from Amy," Matt said. "It's always going to be awkward." Sigh. RIP love.
Little People, Big World airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
