Aaron Carter Is ‘So Proud’ of His Mom Jane Since She Is ‘Almost 40 Days Sober’
Congrats! Aaron Carter revealed that his mom, Jane Carter, is “almost 40 days sober” and couldn’t help but gush over how far she has come in the last few months. “My mother sent me a picture updating me on her progress, and I’m so proud that she is almost 40 days sober, and she is truly the love of my life,” the 31-year-old captioned a photo of his mom on Instagram on Monday, October 7. “Momma, without you there would be no me. It was sad that some of my family decided to cut her off due to the disease of addiction. Something the rest of my family isn’t as knowledgeable about more than me because I’ve been to rehab twice, and I’m finally at a place where I can be there for my mother, and I got her the help she needed through @thedoctorstv.”
He added, “They changed my life, and my mother is the reason why I have what I have, and I want all of you to know that you should never forget who introduced you to me, and it was most likely allllllll the momma bears out there. #iloveyoumom #sobriety you can do it, and you CAN help the ones you love as long as you help yourselves first. #LMG.”
Of course, fans commented about Jane’s journey. One person wrote, “Congrats to your mama!! She looks fabulous!” while another echoed, “Congrats to your mom! Every day counts, and she should be proud. Each day I pray brings her strength to overcome this. Prayers to all of you.” A third person chimed in, writing, “She truly looks happy and blessed. I love it.”
In September, the “I Want Candy” crooner and Jane appeared on an episode of The Doctors, where she confessed she drinks in the morning before she goes to her job at night. “I really don’t wanna die. I want to be there for everybody,” she said on the show. “I want to be there for my grandchildren.” However, it seems like Jane got the help she needed.
It’s been quite a month for the pop star since he has been involved in some family drama. On September 17, Aaron wore a black ‘NSync shirt and dissed his brother’s boy band group, the Backstreet Boys. Shortly afterward, the Florida native was honest with his fans about what was going on between him and his siblings. “So, my brother just got a restraining order against me. And I was just served, LOL,” he wrote on social media. “Take care, @nickcarter, we’ve done for life. … You should send a cease and desist while you’re at it, too. I haven’t seen him in four years, and I don’t intend [to].”
About an hour later, Nick Carter responded to the allegations via Twitter. “After careful consideration, my sister Angel [Carter] and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” he wrote. “In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
Since then, Aaron debuted a new face tattoo and admitted that he is “in a really good place” in his life, and he is “not on any drugs.”
Hopefully, Jane continues to get better, and the Carter family can resolve their issues.
