Aaron Carter Spotted Barefoot in L.A. Amid Family Drama: Photos

Out and about. Aaron Carter was spotted spending time with a friend in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 17 — the same day that his older brother, Nick Carter, revealed he took out a restraining order against the “I Want Candy” crooner.

The 31-year-old wore a black ‘NSync shirt — likely throwing shade at his brother’s famous boy band group, Backstreet Boys —with black pants during the sunny day. Aaron was holding his cell phone, car keys and a water bottle while he appeared outside of a house — barefoot. For his part, the companion was wearing a black tank top with jeans and checkered shoes holding a cell phone.

It hasn’t been an easy few days for Aaron, to say the least. During the evening, Aaron broke the news about the situation with his older brother. “So, my brother just got a restraining order against me. And I was just served, LOL,” Aaron wrote on Twitter. “Take care. @nickcarter, we’re done for life. … You should send a cease and desist while you’re at it, too. I haven’t seen him in four years, and I don’t intend [to].”

About an hour later, the Backstreet Boys frontman responded to the allegations via social media. “After careful consideration, my sister Angel [Carter] and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” he wrote. “In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”

Aaron decided to go on a Twitter rant about how upset he was about how everything unfolded. “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me, and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family,” he replied. “This is obviously a chess game of some sort.”

He added, “All I ask is for my family to leave me alone. This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you, and I don’t want to be around you. I am the one who said I’m done, then you send me this!? OK. Stop trying to get me 5150’d before I file a harassment suit myself, Nick. I have the money.”

Family Feud

It doesn’t seem like a reconciliation is in the works between Aaron and Nick, though. The entertainer shared a clip of the brothers fighting on TV on Twitter, writing, “LEAVE ME ALONE. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I’M BEGGING YOU. PLEASE. I haven’t seen you guys and Nick, you bullied me my whole life. And tortured me as a child, and everyone knows it. IT’S BEEN PUBLIC. And now you’re scared of the truth.”

But some fans are hoping that Aaron gets the help he needs. One person wrote, “That was ages ago. You really need to start looking forward,” while another echoed, “You really need help to overcome this! However, I’m sure you weren’t perfect to him. You both did wrong, and you both hold onto s—t that’s got you both to where you are now.” A third person chimed in, writing, “But you have to let go of your hate. I know how hard that is.”
