Shots fired. After Aaron Carter appeared on Adam Grandmaison’s podcast, “No Jumper,” the internet personality confessed that he wasn’t sure if he actually believed Aaron’s claims against his older brother, Nick Carter, among other things. “I can’t really tell to what extent he is going through s–t. Like, to what extent he is kind of tweaking out. I am not sure if he is on drugs,” the 35-year-old said during his recap on YouTube on Monday, September 30. “I can’t really tell to what extent he is tripping or what to extent that is just who he is right now. Is he having some drug-induced manic episode or is he kind of an asshole?”

However, the 31-year-old pop star didn’t appreciate what was being said about him, so he posted a video of himself venting on Instagram. “Yo, what’s up Adam22 [referring to his Instagram handle] I just saw your podcast that you did on your personal channel, Adam22, and I just wanted to say I am a little upset about the things you said about me being manic and that you can’t really corroborate the evidence and the things I am saying,” he said. “I have been going through a lot of personal family issues and of course, being in the public eye, I am going to express myself because I am left with no choice sometimes, and I was a little upset about kind of what you were saying.”

But the “I Want Candy” crooner wanted to explain himself and set the record straight. “I get at the end, you know, you wished me all the best, but I am in a really good place in my life, and I am just real,” he admitted. “Like, you did inspire me, we f—king kicked it, we smoked weed together, we chilled, and I just think you know, next time don’t go behind my back.”

Aaron continued to share his side of the story with a long caption. “I’m not on any drugs or tweaking, and I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t say that kind of stuff about me. I work really hard. I’m a businessman. I f—king work my ass off every day,” he fumed. “Give me a break, bro. I’d like to see all these people talking all this s—t, work as hard as I do and to see these comments is disgusting. The comments on our interview are foul and not true. I really wish people wouldn’t do what they are doing. We can have another chat if you want.”

Unfortunately, Adam didn’t think he did anything wrong. “What did I say that you disagreed with? I would like to respond, but I kind of don’t get what you’re mad about,” he commented.

Meanwhile, the Florida native recently got a new face tattoo amid his family drama. On September 17, Aaron wore a black ‘NSync shirt and threw shade at his brother’s boy band group, the Backstreet Boys. Shortly afterward, Aaron revealed what had really gone down between the siblings. “So, my brother just got a restraining order against me. And I was just served, LOL,” he wrote on social media. “Take care. @nickcarter, we’re done for life. … You should send a cease and desist while you’re at it, too. I haven’t seen him in four years, and I don’t intend [to].”

Later on, Nick, 39, responded to the allegations via Twitter. “After careful consideration, my sister Angel [Carter] and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” he wrote. “In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”

We hope everything gets resolved sooner than later.
