Growing up so fast! There’s been nonstop drama going on with 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg and estranged husband Jihoon Lee, but she put it aside to celebrate a very special occasion — her daughter Drascilla’s birthday.

The season 2 star, 23, took to Instagram with photos of her mini-me, who just turned 5, and gushed over her “sweet little girl” in a new Instagram post. “I love you so much, I can’t believe how big you are getting!” she wrote on Tuesday, September 1.

Deavan shared the rare portraits of her daughter after calling out the show’s editing on August 18, revealing it was so distressing she would no longer be having either of her children on TV anymore.

“Just know my daughter is a good girl. She really is,” the star said in a now-deleted Instagram Live. “What they show, it’s like they wanna make this storyline of just hurting this child. She was 3. And they created a storyline of this child when she’s not like that. Every kid has their moments throughout the day.”

The TLC alum, who is also mom to son Taeyang, made sure to clear the air about the scary incident involving Drascilla during the previous episode, which aired August 10. She said viewers watched footage from two separate moments captured one evening, which were edited together to make it look more dramatic.

According to Deavan, Drascilla ran off twice that night. The first time happened after a game of tag, which is what fans saw on the show. The second incident where Drascilla took off running down the street toward the playground where she, Jihoon, 29, and her mother, Elicia Clegg, just visited, was not caught on camera.

The aftermath of the second incident, which was a tense fight between Elicia, Deavan and Jihoon, was captured after cameras were turned back on, which is why the scene jumped from the family at the playground to Deavan explaining what happened to producers while standing in a dark street.

“As [Jihoon is] running, he stops midway as a car is approaching Drascilla and he turns around and he starts screaming at me,” Deavan claimed, explaining what transpired off camera.

“I’m not gonna say exactly what he said, because I can’t remember. Like I said, it was over a year ago. But he was cursing at me. At this point, my mom witnesses a car basically coming at Drascilla as he’s cursing at me. And that’s what happened. And then [Drascilla] stopped, listened and came back,” the mom of two shared.

Because the scenes were spliced together, fans thought Deavan and Elicia were upset because Jihoon allowed Drascilla to run off. But they were really upset because Drascilla ran off and Jihoon went to go after her, but stopped to fight with Deavan about her “yelling” at him while Drascilla kept running toward a street. They felt he should’ve grabbed Drascilla first before picking the fight with Deavan.

She said the situation was upsetting and very hard to get over, although Jihoon later apologized for the way he handled the situation. “I have a responsibility to protect her,” the South Korea native said in his confessional during the August 17 episode.

Days after the turmoil aired on TV, Jihoon took to Instagram to confirm he and Deavan split. “So I can’t tell everything because the show [is] not finished. They will be happy and I need to be happy. Just, I will live my own life,” he said. “If you lost [a] lover, boy [or] girl. So sad, but you can start again.”

Deavan has since moved on and is now in a relationship with an actor named Christopher “Topher” Park, a source close to the star confirmed to In Touch

Fans are hopeful Deavan and Jihoon can remain amicable post-split.
