She’s breaking it down! Ashley Martson heard about all the confusion regarding her nuptials to Jay Smith, so she took to social media to set the record straight on Jan. 3. The 90 Day Fiancé star said she spoke with TLC and wanted to clarify some facts about the rumors going around.

“We scheduled our original wedding on the 88th day after Jay arrived to America,” the reality star began, alongside a photo of her marriage certificate dated May 16, 2018. “Due to canceling our original wedding plans so last minute (as you saw on the show during the wedding registry incident) and having my kids that weekend, we could not go to Vegas before the 90 days were up.”

I know there are some rumors, so I spoke with TLC they would like me to clarify: We scheduled our original wedding on the 88th day after Jay arrived to America. Due to canceling our original wedding plans so last minute (as you saw on the show during the wedding registry incident) and having my kids that weekend, we could not go to Vegas before the 90 days were up. Jay and I went to City Hall in Harrisburg, PA, said our vows, then flew out to Vegas for an actual ceremony a week later. This is why no one can find a public certificate in the Vegas records. I hope this gives you all some clarification! Please don’t mind my kids juice box spill on the certificate! 🤦🏼‍♀️#momlife #married #90dayfiance #tlc #receipts

“Jay and I went to City Hall in Harrisburg, PA, said our vows, then flew out to Vegas for an actual ceremony a week later,” Ashley explained to her followers. The marriage was later certified on May 22. “This is why no one can find a public certificate in the Vegas records. I hope this gives you all some clarification! Please don’t mind my kids juice box spill on the certificate!”

As you may recall, photos surfaced of Ashley and Jay’s commitment ceremony from 2017 in Jamaica, but that was so his family and friends could also attend. “We didn’t get our real dream wedding in America, but before I came to the US we did get a beautiful Jamaican celebration,” he reportedly said of the event. Ashley, 31, also posted a snap of Jay’s Visa approval to prove that he did come to the US via a K-1 Visa.

Ashley has been keeping fans in the loop, despite having a tough last month. She was in and out of the hospital, amid the swirling split rumors. “I wanted to tell you that wherever I am, whatever happens, I’ll always think of you, and the time we spent together, as my happiest time. I’d do it all over again, if I had the choice,” Jay recently posted, adding fuel to the fire. Meanwhile, Ashley also shared a message of her own. “A lot can change in a year,” she wrote. “Bring it on, 2019, I’m ready!”

90 Day Fiancé’s reunion airs Sunday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
