’90DF’ Star Russ Mayfield Gives Sweet Update On New Mama Paola And Baby Axel: ‘So Much To Learn’
Welcome to parenthood! Paola and Russ Mayfield have officially welcomed their first child together and the 90 Day Fiancé stars couldn’t be more overjoyed about their new addition, Axel. It’s been a joyous start to the new year for Paola and Russ. People reported that Axel was born on Jan. 1 at 12:22 a.m. and he measured 22 inches in length. Their bundle of joy weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and the proud parents gushed to the outlet, “We were hoping for a Christmas baby, but ended up with a New Year’s baby, and we wouldn’t change our experience for anything else.”
Paola and Russ captivated viewers while starring on the first season of the hit TLC series and the pair later returned for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? The couple has come a long way since tying the knot in 2013. The new mama previously made a heartbreaking confession during Season 3 of Happily Ever After, revealing that she had sadly suffered a miscarriage. Now, Paola is counting her blessings and she’s thrilled about starting this exciting new adventure with Russ.
The lovebirds have kept fans in the loop throughout her pregnancy journey via social media, as they announced they were expecting on July 25, before announcing the gender of their baby in an epic reveal. And since then, they’ve reached a milestone in their relationship. Paola, 31, and Russ, 31, celebrated their five-year anniversary on Oct. 7, 2018 and Russ posted a heartwarming message.
“You’re the foundation of our family and I wouldn’t be who I am today without your passion and drive,” Russ wrote about his other half. “My love and appreciation for you has never been greater.” We can’t wait to see more adorable photos with their precious son, Axel!
